Maggie Tseng

illustrator, designer, muralist

She paints, draws, writes, engraves, sculpts, publishes, etc. Maggie's passion for process and story drove her to pursue a career in illustrative work. For work inquiries and requests for her resume please contact her at mtseng01@alumni.risd.edu

In her art, she tries to tap into her subconscious remembering certain moods and feelings that she's felt or felt through another person and would involuntarily pair these feelings with images in what she believes to be the collective consciousness’s library of infinite archetypes that we are all connected through. Her work harkens back to old fairytales, asian philosophy, greek myths, religion, etc., all birthplaces of certain powerful images like the dragon, fairies, princesses, the apple, God, the moon, etc. She references, but because it is her hand and her conscious at work in the image making there is an innate style that is entirely her own.
